i-Size is the latest safety standard, developed over years of research in renowned centers around the world. After detailed analysis of the causes and effects of accidents, the researchers managed to achieve a new standard that significantly improves the safety of small passengers.

• Strict crash tests – each i-Size car seat must pass rigorous crash tests – front, rear and side.
• Better fit – i-Size seats are selected not in terms of weight, but the height of the child.
• Safe installation – i-Size seats must be fitted with an ISOFIX system supported by additional safety features – it is not possible to use standard car belts.

Front and rear facing

According to the recommendations of experts, in the case of the youngest, the installation of the rear seat is definitely safer. This is due to the proportion of the body of babies and undeveloped neck and neck muscles that support the head. In Lukasa, babies can ride backwards until they reach 87 cm tall. Older children up to 105 cm tall comfortably travel forward.

ISOFIX + stabilizing leg

Lukas is mounted using the safe ISOFIX system and a special stabilizing leg additionally keeping the seat in the right position. This also means that it takes only a few seconds to properly install the seat.

Lukas has undergone multi-stage verification - it has undergone both a number of internal inspections and tests in an independent certification laboratory - TUV. Full compliance with the i-Size safety standard.

Shell

The frame of the seat is made of technologically advanced material with excellent energy absorption properties – polypropylene reinforced with expanded polystyrene (EPS). In the event of an accident, it absorbs the impact power, protecting the passenger.

Side Impact Protection System

To provide protection against impacts from the side, the Lukas seat is equipped with special side panels made of a combination of energy-consuming materials. The construction consisting of strong polypropylene PP, extremely resistant polyamide reinforced with glass fiber and shape memory foam – memory foam, which adapts to the shape of the child’s body guarantees a comprehensive cover for the child.

Deepened headrest

The headrest is made of a combination of extremely strong expanded polystyrene and shape memory foam (High Density Memory Foam). Thanks to this, the headrest provides full protection of the baby's neck and head, and adapts to the child's favorite position, ensuring full comfort.

Full backrest adjustment

The backrest can be adjusted for both front and rear-facing installation. With the rear position, a safe and comfortable reclining position is possible for the child.

7-degree headrest adjustment with straps

For the sake of comfort and safety, the headrest can be freely adapted to the child's structure with up to 7-degree adjustment. The headrest has been connected to the seat belts, so that when changing settings you do not have to adjust the belt settings separately.

Lumbar insert

The seat insert is also equipped with a special lumbar segment to protect the child's spine, which thanks to its anatomical shape maintains the correct position of the little traveler's back.

5-point belts with waist belt and SABELT® fastener

Modern 5-point belts straight from motorsports provide the highest level of safety. The seat is also equipped with a safe and proven buckle of the Italian brand Sabelt®, known for Formula 1 racing and rally cars.

Pleasant to the touch upholstery

Lukas has a soft, flexible and durable upholstery that is extremely easy to keep clean. Just vacuuming allows you to remove most of the impurities, and the material is also washable.

Magnetic Belt Holders

Often when the child is away from the car, the seat belts get tangled, making it difficult to place the child. To avoid this, Lukas is equipped with convenient magnetic belt holders that keep the buckles in the right position.
