In addition to a safe rear-facing position, this car seat also features integrated side impact protection to protect each side. The rear-facing position is one of the safest on the go. In critical, first moments of frontal impact, the child’s body is pressed against the padded shell of the car seat, limiting movement and force affecting the child’s neck. The rear-facing position is mandatory up to 15 months of age (76cm), but we recommend using it for as long as possible.

The Sirona Gi i-Size is designed for comfortable rear-facing travel up to a child's weight of 20kg (*compared to the same forward-facing seat during a frontal collision. The result of internal tests according to the criteria of the ADAC frontal impact test from 2022. )
