The PEU car seat by CAVOE is designed for children with a height of 40 - 87 cm (i.e. from birth to about 13 kg) and it is the so-called first car seat (carrier), which can be mounted on any multifunctional stroller by CAVOE and on most strollers of other brands that have universal "m-c" adapters.

The safety of the CAVOE PEU car seat is ensured by the latest European approval ECE R129, which replaced the previous unsustainable automotive approval ECE R44/04. From 1 September 2024, the ECE R129 standard will become the only applicable standard for the approval of car seats in the European Union. It is crucial to ensure the safety of the seat to fit both the child and the vehicle, as well as its correct installation. The most effective car seat will not provide maximum safety if these two criteria are not met. The ECE R129 standard is designed to reduce the risk associated with improper selection and installation of car seats. The subjective weight criterion of the child has been replaced by a more objective growth criterion. In addition, all seats certified according to ECE 129 I-SIZE must be installed using the ISOFIX system, which significantly reduces installation errors. The CAVOE PEU car seat is also available in the I-SIZE version in combination with the ISOFIX car swivel base. This extended version is called PEU PRO and is also included in the CAVOE brand offer. The basic version of PEU without ISOFIX base can also be installed in the car using car seat belts.

The CAVOE PEU car seat, like any car seat designed for the growth group from 40 to 87 cm, is a RWF car seat, so it must be mounted in the car rear-facing. Tests show that this is the safest possible method of installation.

The upholstery of a car seat is just as important as its design. It is an integral part affecting the safety of the child and his comfort during travel. CAVOE PEU has a system of reducing inserts and upholstery made of the highest quality fabrics. The outer elements of the seat (those that have direct contact with the child's hands and feet and reducing inserts) are made of soft fabric in fashionable and practical melange colors. The interior of the seat is made of ventilated 3D fabric "honeycomb", thanks to which it perfectly wicks away moisture and keeps the child comfortable even during long journeys

The seat has an 11-degree headrest height adjustment integrated with the height adjustment of the harness shoulder straps. What does that mean? Simply adjust the height of the headrest to your child's height, and the harness will automatically be set to the correct height. Remember that in the event of a collision or road accident, the correct fit of the harness plays a key role.

The main advantages of the CAVOE PEU car seat:

ECE R129 approval – this is the only acceptable approval in the European Union. It is also considered the most objective. Some well-known commercial institutes (e.g. ADAC) carry out their own classification of car seat ratings. Remember, however, that a safety rating accounts for only 50% of the total rating.

CAN BE MOUNTED ON A STROLLER - the PEU car seat can be mounted on any CAVOE multi-purpose stroller using adapters appropriate for the model of the stroller. Thanks to the most popular universal “m-c” connectors, the CAVOE PEU car seat can be mounted on most strollers with universal “m-c” adapters.
