Power supply

Use:

Quick start

1. Install batteries or connect an AC adapter.

2. Insert the cuff plug into the air socket on the left side of the blood pressure monitor.

3. Remove clothing that could compress the shoulder.

4. Before measuring, rest for about 10 minutes. Rest the left arm on the table, lay your feet flat on the floor.

5. Put the cuff on your left shoulder and keep it at heart level. The lower part of the cuff should be about 2-3 cm above the elbow joint.

6. Press the “ON/OFF” power button to start the measurement.

Battery installation

Remove the battery cover. Insert 4 new 1,5V AAA alkaline batteries according to the indicated polarity (“+” and “–”). Close the battery cover.

AC adapter

The AC adapter socket is located on the right side of the device.

System settings:

1. User selection (user 1 and 2).

Before you start measuring, make sure that you have set the device for the intended user. Press the “SET” button and hold it for at least 3 seconds until the user symbol 1 or 2 flashes on the display. To change the user, press the MEM “M” memory button. To approve the selected participant, press the “ON/OFF” power button.

Measurement:

1. Inclusion

Press the “ON/OFF” power button. The cuff will be inflated automatically.

2. Pumping the cuff

After reaching the appropriate pressure in the cuff, pumping is interrupted, and the pressure in the cuff begins to gradually decrease. During the measurement, a heartbeat symbol appears on the display, which flashes during each heartbeat of the subject.

3. Displaying the result

At the end of the measurement, the display will show the result of systolic, diastolic and heart rate pressure.

4. You can stop taking the measurement at any time by pressing the “ON/OFF” power button. The device will automatically and immediately reduce the pressure in the cuff.

5. Saving test results

The blood pressure monitor automatically records the last 120 results of each user. If the number of measurements exceeds the allocated 120 memory slots, the latest research will appear first, eliminating the oldest readings.

Disable

To turn off the device, press the “ON/OFF” power button at any time. After 3 minutes of inactivity, the device will turn off automatically.

Memory control

To call the saved results, press the “M” memory button while the device is on. The average value of the last three measurements (R) will appear on the display. With the next press of the memory button, you can read the result of the latest pressure measurement (MR1). Pressing the memory button repeatedly allows you to switch between further writes (MR2-MR120).

Memory cleaning

To delete all saved results, press the “M” memory button and hold it for at least 5 seconds until a flashing symbol appears on the display. To permanently clear the memory, press the “M” memory button.

Detection of arrhythmia

The arrhythmia detection symbol indicates that a heart rate irregularity was detected during the measurement. In this case, the result of blood pressure measurement may deviate from the norm, and the measurement should be repeated. If the symbol appears regularly (e.g. several times a week with daily measurements), it is recommended that the patient contact a doctor.
