Catit Pixi Smart Feeder is a smart dry food feeder for your cat. With built-in Wi-Fi, you can connect to it through the app and set a schedule and the amount of feed you feed. The feeder is equipped with an ABS filling container with a capacity of 2,8 liters and holds about 1-1,2 kg of dry cat food (depending on the recipe / brand).

Unlike Smart Fountain, it is a standalone product. It has the same Wi-Fi connectivity as the Fountain and connects to the same app. The front of the feeder is a button that presses to dispense food into the stainless steel bowl below. When the lid is closed, the hopper is tightly closed, but under the top lid there is a desiccant basket (silica) that will help keep food fresh.

The Catit Pixi Smart feeder will allow you to feed remotely (when you are stuck late in the office or away from home at night) or to feed smaller portions during the day. Constant, free access to food allows cats to eat multiple meals during the day, which is a healthy and proper behavior. At the same time, however, it leads to overeating and taking too much food, which causes obesity. With a portion control feeder like the Pixi Smart Feeder, this can be controlled.

With the app, users will have the following features:

• each feeding can be a predetermined value of food, in 5g multiples (each “portion” is 5g, and each feeding can consist of any number of portions),

• push notifications in case of jamming of the mechanism (automatic correction of most jams without notification),
• Updating the feeder software (where applicable), the app is available for both Android and iOS devices.

The app can control multiple devices. Many apps can control the same devices as long as everyone logs in using the same user information, which means that multiple members of the same household can access the devices. It contains three different languages – mainly English (the EN font size is larger/more visible), with secondary German and French (the whole text is in all 3 languages, but EN/FR has a smaller font).
