The headphones - like other Celest products - refer to the legends described in the Chinese "Book of Mountains and Seas". This time’s inspiration was the mythical beast Pixiu (Pi Xiu), which is known as Plutus Beast, as well as “Tianlu”, “Bixie” or “Baijie”. It is a creature from Chinese mythology, which is to be the ninth son of the Dragon King and famous for its strength and fierceness. Plutus Beast is titled “The Heavenly Creature of Happiness”, symbolizing blessing and wealth. Pixiu looks like a tiger with the head and tail of a dragon - it is his likeness that appears on the metal page-pendant tab, which Celest adds to each pair of Plutus Beast.

Celest Plutus Beast enclosures draw attention to the design, which refers to wealth (combined with the mythical Pixiu). The company’s design team has therefore prepared special front panels that are hand-painted and resemble gold or silver jewelry. • custom-made armature transducer, which is responsible for the reproduction of high tones. It improves the stretch and detail of the soprano, making the sound more transparent, and the stage - large and aerated;
• developed according to Celest guidelines, the bone conduction transducer, which improves the quality of low tones even more. Thanks to this, the bass has an even better perceptible impact and better texture.

Plutus Beast is the result of hard work of the Celest acoustic laboratory (Fengming Tianyin). The team collected data on the expectations of audio enthusiasts and then carried them out through a series of acoustic tests under the supervision of experienced audio engineers. This made it possible to precisely assign individual fragments of the frequency response to different types of transducers to bring out their best features.
