How does Ecosoft CROSS Solo work?

The system uses two main stages of purification:

Carbon filter

• The water first flows through the filter with active coconut shell carbon. This stage helps to reduce chlorine, chlorination by-products, organic compounds and substances affecting the taste and smell of water.

Reverse osmosis

• Then the water goes to the RO 500 GPD membrane, which, thanks to the reverse osmosis process, removes most of the dissolved impurities. RO technology significantly reduces m.in. salts, heavy metals and many other undesirable substances present in water.

The system works in Direct Flow technology, so it does not need a large water tank. Purified water is available immediately after starting the flow.

High efficiency 500 GPD

• The membrane with a capacity of 500 GPD allows to obtain about 1,3 liters of purified water per minute.
• This solution is designed for people who want to use filtered water on an ongoing basis, without waiting for the tank to fill.
• 500 GPD = approximately 1890 litres/day in laboratory conditions. Actual performance depends on m.in. from temperature, pressure and feed water quality.

More efficient use of water

• The CROSS Solo is designed to increase the efficiency of the reverse osmosis process.
• Water recovery is about 50%, which means that for about 1 liter of purified water there is about 1 liter of water discharged into the sewer.
• Compared to classic RO systems with a lower recovery rate, this allows you to reduce the amount of water going into the drain.
