Purpose:

• Charging 12V capacity batteries from 40Ah to 80Ah used in passenger cars, vans, etc. Charging method according to the characteristics of "W" - constant voltage with decreasing current, i.e. The charging current decreases as the battery level increases.

Construction and protection:

The rectifier housing is made of plastic (PP with the addition of recycled plastic).

An efficient and durable transformer on the EI fitting was used. Transformer coil windings made of copper wire. Cooling of the rectifier system on aluminum radiators.

The electronic system developed by ELSIN protects against short circuit and reverse connection of output terminals to the battery. In the case of reverse connection of terminals to the battery clam, it is enough to correctly connect the terminals, and the rectifier after approx. 5 sec. It automatically returns to a state of readiness.

Overload resistance is ensured by the use of a replaceable car fuse "UNIVAL".

The rectifier transformer has thermal protection to protect the transformer from excessive heating of coil windings and thus from its damage.

The rectifier has a tilting charging current indicator (ammeter) allowing for ongoing control of the battery charging process.

The output voltage is indicated by an LED.

Power cord length approx. 1,5m.

Output cables (black and red) length approx. 1,5m terminated with "crocodile" clamps.
