HAT PCIe to Raspberry Pi 5 Adapter for NVMe 2230 2242 Drives from Pineberry Pi

Pineberry Pi HatDrive! Top is an innovative solution for Raspberry Pi 5 users. The device provides support for NVMe (M-key) drives in M.2 formats of sizes 2230 and 2242. Equipped with PCIe x1 interface, compatible with both Gen2 and Gen3 standards. The HatDrive TM1S (TOP) also features built-in LED indicators to monitor power supply voltage and M.2 disk activity.

The board format is compatible with the original Raspberry Pi HAT dimensions (65 x 56.50 mm) and supports the standard 40-pin Raspberry Pi HAT connector. The chip also has a dedicated EEPROM I2C memory, compatible with the HAT ID, which allows for seamless identification and configuration of the device. HatDrive TM1S has a power monitoring system, enabling continuous monitoring of voltage, current and power using the I2C interface.

The power supply system complies with the M.2 (NGFF) standard thanks to the built-in voltage regulator, which provides up to 3A for the 3.3V power rail. Installation of M.2 drives is simple thanks to a dedicated metal holder. The HatDrive TM1S also offers flexible power options: either directly from the FPC PCIe tape or via the 40-pin HAT connector.

HATDrive! The top is designed in a user-friendly manner, with clear markings for easy use. Built with high-quality electronic components and a durable 4-layer PCB, the HatDrive TM1S ensures reliability and durability. Its design also allows it to be combined with other HAT tiles in the form of stacks.

The set includes all the necessary accessories: dedicated FPC PCIe tape, M2.5 spacer screws, M.2 card mounting distance, as well as an optional 28-pin HAT male-female connector. HatDrive TM1S is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to get the most out of their Raspberry Pi 5.
