Application

Shell Helix Ultra Professional AJ-L is designed for use in gasoline engines requiring the use of oils that meet the technically advanced STJLR 51.5122 standard. Developed for Jaguar and Land Rover engines that require ACEA-compliant oils along with additional JLR own tests. It can also be used when API SN grade oils are required.

Properties and benefits

• Passed the fuel economy test M111FE (CEC-L-54-T-96) with the result: fuel economy minimum 3.4 % (average result of three tests).
• Engine wear and durability Passed the OM646LA (CECL-099-08) test to assess the wear of cams, pushers and cylinders and the purity of pistons and cylinders and deposits in the engine.
• Passed the VW TDI test (CEC L-78-99) assessing the purity of pistons. It passed the DV6C (CEC L-106-16) medium temperature oil dispersion test assessing the increase in viscosity and purity of the pistons.
