The basic configuration of the liteCUE-basic implementation assumes the use of a controller

controlCUE-basic, in which the control application prepared using the Cue Visual Composer programming tool is loaded. In addition, the built-in Simple Setup function can be used to configure the system without programming. The control unit then controls the individual devices installed in the conference room using IP protocol, serial ports, infrared, digital inputs/outputs and relays.

The 8-button keyboard with backlit key label serves as a control panel. Each button contains an indicator informing about the status of the system or individual devices.

The entire control system is connected to the PoE network, from which it is completely powered by m.in. keyboard. Therefore, no separate power supply is required.

The liteCUE-basic connection is shown in the following figure. The controller is connected to a data network, from which it is also powered by PoE. The keyboard is connected to the controller via the Keyboard Port connector, which provides power and data transmission in the RS-485 standard.
