Satechi OntheGo 7-in-1 Multiport Adapter in Space Black extends one USB-C connection with seven connectors designed for power, image transfer, data transmission, memory card support and wired network connection. The adapter has two USB-A ports, USB-C Power Delivery port, HDMI 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet and SD and microSD card readers.

The compact design is equipped with a built-in USB-C braided cable and a magnetic mounting system. The adapter can be attached directly to a compatible iPhone with MagSafe or to a laptop, tablet, phone or case using the included 3M adhesive ring.

USB-C Power Delivery Pass-through Charging up to 80W

The USB-C Power Delivery port accepts power up to 100 W and transmits up to 80 W to the connected device. The manufacturer states that about 20 W is used to power the adapter itself.

The USB-C Power Delivery port is for charging only. Does not support data transmission or image transfer. It is also not compatible with CD and DVD drives and Apple USB SuperDrive.

The manufacturer does not recommend connecting the adapter in series with other hubs.

HDMI 2.0 to 4K output at 60 Hz

The HDMI 2.0 port allows you to connect a compatible external display and transfer images in resolution up to 4K at a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

The manufacturer provides support for direct HDMI connection. The USB-C Power Delivery port cannot be used as an image output.

Gigabit Ethernet up to 1 Gbps

The built-in Gigabit Ethernet port allows wired connection to the network. Supports 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps speeds, providing maximum bandwidth up to 1 Gbps.

The network cable must be connected directly to the Ethernet port in the adapter.

Two USB-A ports up to 5 Gbps

OntheGo 7-in-1 has two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports. Each of them supports data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps.

Up to two compatible peripherals or USB-A storage devices can be connected to the adapter. USB-A ports are designed for data transmission and do not support charging.

The manufacturer informs that USB-A ports are not compatible with CD readers or Apple USB SuperDrive.

SD and microSD card readers UHS-I

The adapter has a separate full-size SD card reader and a microSD card reader. Both use the UHS-I standard and provide read and write speeds up to 104 MB/s.

Each reader supports memory cards up to 2 TB. SD and microSD cards can be read simultaneously.

Built-in braided USB-C cable

After use, the cable can be wrapped around the housing and placed in an integrated groove. The design does not use an automatic winding mechanism – the cable is manually laid and secured in the intended place.

Magnetic attachment system

The built-in magnetic system allows you to directly attach the adapter to a compatible iPhone with MagSafe.

The included 3M ring can be glued to devices without a suitable magnetic surface. It allows you to attach the adapter to:

3M Self Adhesive Ring Mounting

Using the adapter on iPhone and iPad

The adapter requires an iPhone or iPad equipped with a USB-C port. It does not work with devices with only Lightning connector.

You can view the contents of the connected memory cards and drives in the Files app. iPhone and most iPads transmit a copy of the image to an external display. Extended workspace requires Stage Manager support on a compatible iPad with an M-series layout.

Compatible with Windows and Android devices
