Satechi OntheGo 5-in-1 Multiport Adapter in Silver extends one USB-C connector of the device with five connections: HDMI, USB-C for data transmission, USB-A for data transmission, SD card reader and USB-C Power Delivery. The adapter supports images in resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz, data transfer up to 5 Gbps, SD UHS-I cards up to 104 MB/s and pass-through charging up to 60 W.

The compact, round design has a built-in braided USB-C cable and a magnetic base. The adapter can be attached to a compatible iPhone with MagSafe or to a device equipped with the included 3M adhesive ring. The cable can be rolled up in the groove located at the bottom of the housing.

HDMI 4K output at 60 Hz

The HDMI port allows you to connect an external display and transfer images in resolution up to 4K at a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The manufacturer provides support for direct HDMI connection.

Only the HDMI port is responsible for transmitting the image. USB-C port for data transmission and USB-C Power Delivery port do not support video output.

USB-C and USB-A ports up to 5 Gbps

The USB-C port for data transmission uses the USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard and provides speeds up to 5 Gbps. Compatible devices and USB-C storage can be connected to it. This port does not transfer images.

The USB-A port also supports data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. The manufacturer informs that the adapter is not compatible with Apple USB SuperDrive or CD and DVD readers.

USB-C Power Delivery Pass-through Charging up to 60W

The USB-C Power Delivery port allows you to charge your source device while using the adapter. When connected, the USB-C power cord provides through charging up to 60W, and the remaining ports can remain active.

The USB-C Power Delivery port is designed for power supply. Does not support data transmission or image transfer.

UHS-I Full Size SD Card Reader

The built-in reader supports full-size SD cards, including SDHC and SDXC cards. The UHS-I standard allows you to read and write data at speeds up to 104 MB/s.

The card should be placed with the contacts pointing downwards and the label pointing upward.

Built-in braided USB-C cable

OntheGo 5-in-1 Multiport Adapter has an integrated USB-C braided cable with a length of 16,5 cm. The host cable uses USB 3.2 Gen 2 and supports bandwidth up to 10 Gbps. The adapter's individual USB-C and USB-A ports transfer data at speeds up to 5 Gbps.

After use, the cable can be rolled up in a round groove at the bottom of the housing. The USB-C plug is placed in the designed hooks that keep it in place.

Magnetic adapter mount

Magnetic base allows positioning and attachment of the adapter. OntheGo 5-in-1 can be attached directly to a compatible iPhone with MagSafe. For devices without an integrated magnetic attachment, one of the included 3M adhesive rings should be used.

After sticking the ring, the adapter is magnetically attracted to it. It can be removed and placed in the same place again.

The magnetic base does not provide wireless charging. It is used exclusively for positioning and fixing the adapter.

Mounting with 3M self-adhesive ring

Before gluing the ring, the manufacturer recommends cleaning the surface and checking whether the built-in USB-C cable freely reaches the port of the device. The ring should be firmly pressed against a clean and flat surface, avoiding places that are curved or have a clear texture.

The location of the ring should be planned before it is glued. The set includes two 3M self-adhesive rings.

Works with MacBook Neo

The adapter is compatible with the 2026 MacBook Neo. The manufacturer indicates that you need to connect it to the computer's upper USB-C port.

The aluminum case of the MacBook Neo is not ferromagnetic, so the magnetic base of the adapter may not stay stable on it without an additional element. Use the included 3M ring to attach the adapter to the computer cover.

The MacBook Neo can be charged via the adapter's USB-C Power Delivery port while using the other connectors. The adapter provides through-charging up to 60W, while the manufacturer states that the MacBook Neo accepts charging power up to 30W.

LED indicator light
