Digitus The adapter cable connects the USB-A port to the Ethernet port, offering a wired network connection with a bandwidth of up to 1 Gbit/s. The solution is designed to directly connect laptops and devices with USB-A to a wired network without the need for additional network cards.

The cable is made in the Cat.6A standard with S/FTP shielding (foil + braid) and LSZH jacket, which reduces smoke and halogens in the event of a fire. The 6,2 mm diameter cable and AWG 26 conductors ensure durability and resistance to interference, while the aluminum plug housing and nickel-plated contacts increase the reliability of connections.

The device uses the RTL8153E controller and operates in the USB 3.2 Gen1 standard (downward compatible). The adapter supports plug-and-play mode and network functions such as Wake-On-LAN and Wake-On-WAN, it is powered directly from the USB port, without the need for an additional power source.
