The Rab SilTarp 2 is an ultralight shelter, which is an alternative to a tent. The model after unfolding is able to provide cover for 2-3 people. The lightweight, thin and durable CORDURA® material blocks cooling gusts of wind while spending the night in nature.

The model you are watching is a minimalist proposal addressed to lovers of light mountaineering, backpacking and bikepacking. Tarp will also work as an emergency shelter. The PU coating makes tarp offer water resistance of 2000 mm H2O.

Tourist tarps are gaining more and more popularity among tourists moving with minimalist equipment. They take up much less space than tents and are much lighter. They are often chosen by experienced trekking enthusiasts looking for a minimalist shelter. They are also perfect for shorter trips to the mountains, performing in case of the need for emergency accommodation in the field. The rectangular shape of the tarp allows you to make a canopy with a cover on one side, which will provide basic protection against wind.

The Rab SilTarp 2 double tourist tarp is made of lightweight and thin CORDURA® material. It is characterized by very high strength thanks to the density of 30D, which increases the resistance to easy tearing. Reinforcements made of CORDURA® 300D material were used in sensitive places, thanks to which the whole works perfectly in demanding terrain during long trekking or trips and mountain expeditions.
