The external AXAGON ADE-25R network adapter will easily change the USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) port to a high-speed 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port. It is compatible with transfer speeds of 10/100/1000/2500 Mbit/s. The 2.5 Gbps network card extends the computer with a very fast and stable network connection, adds the missing RJ-45 network connector, another network card or replaces the original, non-working network connection.

The LAN card offers a wide range of features in addition to 2,5 gigabit bandwidth, e.g. IPv4/IPv6 checkusm to reduce CPU load by checksums, cross-detection and automatic correction, offloading large TCP shipments, support for various Wake-on-LAN function modes, working with virtual VLAN and advanced power management features. The advantage of IEEE 802.3bz is that ordinary Cat 5e and Cat 6 Ethernet cables up to 100 m in length can be used to transfer data at a rate of 2.5 Gbps.

The metal adapter cover is made of aluminum and provides excellent mechanical protection and excellent heat dissipation. With its compact size and minimal weight, it's the perfect addition to your laptops. Support for current versions of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems allows you to use the adapter on any desktop, laptop, or ultrabook computer.

On modern operating systems, from Windows 8.1 and later, the adapter offers easy automatic installation without the need to connect to the Internet.
