The S3500 series switches integrate many advanced technologies in terms of reliability, safety and energy savings. Comprehensive QoS policy and security mechanisms

S3500 classifies network traffic based on information packets such as 5-tuples, IP preferences, ToS, DSCP, IP protocol type, ICMP type, and CoS. Each port supports eight priority queues and multiple scheduling queue algorithms such as WRR, SP, WRR+SP. All these features ensure the transmission of high-quality audio, video and data. S3500 offers many protections against denial of service (DoS) attacks, as well as attacks on networks and individual users. The types of identified DoS attacks are SYN Flood attacks, Land attacks, Smurf attacks, and ICMP Flood attacks. The identified attacks on the network are STP BPDU/root attacks. The attacks that are included on users are a fake DHCP server, man-in-the-middle attacks, IP/MAC spoofing attacks, and DHCP request flood attacks. DoS attacks that change the CHADDR field of DHCP packets are another type of attack on users.

Powerful support for services

The S3500 supports IGMP v1/v2/v3 snooping, IGMP filter, IGMP fast leave, and IGMP proxy. The S3500 also supports multicast packet replication between VLANs, multicast load balancing member interfaces, and controlled multicast, meeting the requirements for IPTV and other multicast services.

Energy saving and low radiation

The S3500 switches are designed in a system of integrated energy saving systems to ensure even heat dissipation. Unused ports can be put into sleep mode to further reduce power. The radiation emitted by the S3500 switches is within the standard range for electrical appliances and as such does not pose a threat to people in the vicinity.
