Switch PoE 12-port SFG108WP without power supply

SFG108 is a 12-port PoE switch designed to power IP cameras operating in the IEEE 802.3af/at standard. Switch on ports 1 to 8 has the function of automatic detection of devices powered in the PoE standard.

Ports marked TP/9 and TP/10 are used to connect further network devices via RJ45 connector. The switch also has two SFP sockets (marked SFP/11 and SFP/12), which after using a fiber optic module (GBIC insert) allow transmission over optical fiber.

On the front panel there is an indication of the operating status of the device realized on LEDs.

PoE technology provides a network connection and reduces installation costs by eliminating the need to supply a separate power cable to each device. In addition to cameras, network devices that use this technology can be powered in this way, e.g. IP phone, access point, router.
