Switch PX-S10-P8-U2-TP100HI is a PoE switch designed to power IP cameras operating in IEEE802.3af/at and Hi-Poe standards (port 1). Signed by the IPOX brand, it is the latest version of technologically advanced products designed to function within IP monitoring structures. Switch on ports 1 to 8 has the functions of automatic detection of devices powered in the PoE+/PoE++ standard. UpLink ports are used to connect additional network devices via the RJ45 port. On the front panel there is an indication of the operating status of the device realized on LEDs. The use of the device is very simple, and thanks to the plug & play technique, the installation is seamless.

For reliable operation as part of IP monitoring, the PX-S10-P8-U2-TP100HI network switch is equipped with 16 10/100Mbps PoE ports. In addition, the PoE power supply, which is located on all 8 ports, allows for quick detection of connected devices and allows for dynamic allocation of energy for each device. The PoE switch has built-in MDI/MDIX self-detection, therefore it does not require the use of patch cables and automatically detects and sets the speed and mode of data transmission.

PoE+ and Hi-PoE technology

PoE+ and Hi-PoE is an improved version of PoE technology that allows you to provide power to peripheral devices that are elements of the network using an Ethernet cable. The technique based on the IEEE 802.3at and Hi-PoE protocol allows users to power peripheral devices with power up to 60 W. An important advantage of the improved version of the technology is also high quality and high data transfer rate (up to 1000 Mb/s). Thanks to such high data transfer capabilities, the PoE solution has been widely used in extensive monitoring networks. PoE+ and Hi-PoE technology allows you to transfer images from 4K cameras in real time while maintaining full smoothness.

The advantage of the PX-S10-P8-U2-TP100HI switch is the ability to produce up to 30W (except for the first port with Hi-PoE support, which can deliver power up to 60W) of output power transmitted to one device. If the power of all powered devices exceeds 100W, the switch will automatically disconnect the communication port with the lowest priority. This will protect the installation from overload and ensure the proper and uninterrupted functioning of the remaining equipment.
