Veterinary diet 4vets Weight Reduction is a complete specialized food for dogs recommended for use in the case of overweight and obesity, with diagnosed diabetes and after sterilization to prevent the development of overweight and obesity. Diet thanks to low fat content and L-carnitine content supports the slimming process. An increased amount of fiber reduces the feeling of hunger.

Recommendations:

Before administering the diet, it is recommended to contact your veterinarian to determine the dose. Use until the target dog's body weight is reached. The diet fully meets the nutritional needs of dogs undergoing weight loss therapy and contributes to the improvement of their health. The dog should be provided with constant access to fresh drinking water.

Cykoria – is a rich source of inulin, which is a prebiotic, i.e. a nutrient for the physiological intestinal bacterial flora. Proper intestinal flora hinders the development of pathological bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract of animals, and thus prevents diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

Distinctions:

L-carnitine – provides targeted and facilitated transport of fatty acids to the mitochondria, where they are metabolized, the resulting accelerated energy catabolism contributes to the increase of lipolysis of adipose tissue.

Dimethylsulfone (MSM) – the presence of this ingredient in the diet is an important factor reducing pain associated with the load on the osteoarticular system in overweight and obese dogs.

Low fat content – low fat content and the presence of fatty acids derived only from raw materials of animal origin without the addition of vegetable oils, ensures maximum involvement of liver and pancreatic functions and extends the time needed for their digestion. In addition, polyunsaturated fatty acids from the omega-3 family present in salmon oil provide the necessary amount of them conditioning the biochemical control of inflammatory processes.

Food fiber – high content of dietary fiber (4% of the total weight of food) ensures its adequate water absorption, which increases the feeling of satiety and filling of the digestive tract, which consequently affects faster stimulation of satiety centers and reduces the feeling of hunger. The presence of dietary fiber in the form of psyllium seeds affects the binding of fatty components in the content of the digestive tract, reducing their digestibility and use as energy components.

Marchew – dietary fiber contained in carrots improves blood circulation and motor activity of the intestines and creates conditions for the development of normal bacterial flora. It also accelerates the excretion of cholesterol derivatives and thus reduces its level in the dog's body.

High quality protein – the food is based on sources of wholesome animal protein with low fat content. Thanks to this, it is possible to provide energy components with a longer period of digestion and absorption.
