Satechi OntheGo™ 5-in-1 Multiport Adapter expands a single USB-C port into five convenient interfaces, allowing you to connect multiple accessories and devices simultaneously. The adapter features an HDMI output supporting resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz, a USB-C Power Delivery port for pass-through power, a USB-C port for data transfer, a USB-A port, and a full-size UHS-I SD card reader. This allows you to simultaneously use an external monitor, transfer files from storage devices, read data from memory cards, and power a compatible device. The design integrates all key connectors into a small housing, eliminating the need to carry several separate adapters and simplifying workstation organization.

Fast data transfer

The adapter provides high bandwidth for connected devices. The USB-C host cable complies with the USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard with transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps. The USB-C port for data transfer and the USB-A port use the USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard, offering transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps. The built-in UHS-I SD card reader supports data read speeds of up to 104 MB/s, making it easy to copy photos, videos, and other files from memory cards. The HDMI output supports up to 4K resolution at 60Hz refresh rate, allowing you to connect an external display while working or presenting. All ports can remain active simultaneously when using the adapter function.

Magnetic mount

One of the characteristic elements of the design is the magnetic mounting system. The adapter can be attached to compatible devices equipped with a magnetic mounting system, and for devices without this function, the included 3M adhesive rings can be used. The solution allows you to keep the adapter in a fixed place while working and limits the free movement of the cable on the desk. The integrated braided USB-C cable is permanently connected to the housing and allows for quick connection of the adapter without the need for additional cables. Its compact dimensions mean that the whole thing takes up little space and can be conveniently carried along with a computer or other compatible device.

USB-C pass-through power

The adapter is equipped with a USB-C Power Delivery port that supports input power of up to 100W and charging of the host device at up to 60W. This allows you to simultaneously use the available ports on the adapter and power the connected device from a single cable. The solution allows you to maintain an active connection to a monitor, storage, SD card and other accessories without having to give up charging. The design is designed for simultaneous multitasking, allowing for data transfer, image display and power delivery all at the same time via a single adapter.
