AIR SPRUNG CELLS™ TECHNOLOGY - COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE

Stability means more comfort! STS sleeping air mats are much more comfortable than others on the market, due to their stability, which provides excellent support. The point weld pattern forms hundreds of interconnected chambers called Air Spring Cells. Like the pocket spring mattress you can have at home, the cell matrix provides unparalleled support while adapting to the contours of the sleeper. And because these single air pockets work independently when you move on the mat, you don’t have the rolling experience that is typical of air mats with dividers. Sea to Summit hiking mats are simply much more stable, which translates into better sleep.

DURABLE 30/40D NYLON FABRIC

The 30/40D nylon upper fabric strikes a balance between weight and strength. 40D warp yarn (runs along the mat to form a fabric skeleton) increases strength, while 30D weft yarn (woven across the warp yarn) reduces the total weight of the material and creates a textured weave. From the inside, bright white extrusion laminated TPU was applied to make the fabric tight and zgrzewalna.Na the outside of the fabric was applied a thin acrylic coating to reduce surface slipperyness, increase puncture resistance, and to facilitate puncture repair with self-adhesive patches if needed.

SINGLE-LAYER DESIGN

Larger air pockets are created using multiple TPU loops that connect the upper and lower layers of fabric to form the Air Sprung Cell™. TPU loops allow you to place the top and bottom layers at a greater distance from each other, creating larger air pockets when inflated that require less material overall. Ideal for side sleepers, the extra height of this mat allows you to dive deeper into your hip without touching the ground.
