Description:

ISF108 is a 12-port PoE switch designed to power IP cameras operating in the IEEE 802.3af/at standard.

Switch on ports 1 to 8 has the function of automatic detection of devices powered in the PoE / PoE + standard.

Ports marked TP/9 and TP/10 are used to connect further network devices via RJ45 connector. The switch also has two SFP sockets (marked SFP/11 and SFP/12), which after using a fiber optic module (GBIC insert) allow transmission over optical fiber. The device has solutions that allow power supply from two sources (emergency power supply, redundant) - in the event of failure of one source, there is an immediate switch to backup.

PoE technology provides a network connection and reduces installation costs, eliminating the need to supply a separate power cable to each device. In addition to cameras, network devices that use this technology can be powered in this way, e.g. IP phone, access point, router.
