The ULTIPOWER PRO0208afat PoE Switch is a desktop device that provides seamless network transmission. It allows you to establish connections at speeds of 10 and 100Mbps. It has 10 RJ45 ports supporting automatic negotiation of connection speeds. 8 of them support Power over Ethernet (PoE). The switch automatically detects PD devices operating in the IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at standard and supplies them with power. This allows you to extend the range of the network in places where there is no access to sockets or power lines, and where there is a need to place access points, IP cameras, IP phones, etc. The maximum total power of powered devices must not exceed 120 W.

The device has the following additional functions:

• Extended function enabling power supply of devices connected with twisted pair up to 250 m long,
• The PoE Auto Check function automatically performs a current restart of the connected device in case of its suspension. (ATTENTION! When performing software updates on connected devices, this feature should be disabled).

The most popular PoE 802.3af power standard is used e.g. in IP cameras. It allows you to power devices with a voltage from 44 to 57 V at a maximum power of 15,4 W. The 802.3at standard allows you to power devices with an input voltage of 50 - 57 V and a power not exceeding 25,5 W. Examples of devices powered by the 802.3at standard are: printers, rotary IP cameras and switches.
