Switch equipped with 10 LAN ports, of which 8 PoE ports with a speed of 100/1000 Mbps, allow data transfer and power supply in the 802.3af/at protocol standard, with a total power budget – 120 W.

Up link ports and an SFP slot with speeds of 100/1000 Mbps are used to transfer data that can be used to connect devices that do not require power.

Switch works in Plug and Play standard and does not require configuration, thanks to which it detects and adjusts the speed of transmitted data, to the type of cable and end device. The device is designed to connect subsequent segments of the computer network with the possibility of direct power supply to PoE peripheral devices such as cameras, video intercoms, telephones, access points (AP).

FUNCTIONALITY

Network devices operating in the PoE 802.3af/at standard, connected to the switch, will be automatically powered after negotiating the PoE protocol. In order to ensure switch protection and power stability, the switch has a built-in protection function that automatically monitors and regulates power consumption by PoE ports. If the available power budget is exceeded, the switch identifies the port with the lowest priority and disconnects it. Thanks to this, it ensures even distribution of power between connected devices and minimizes the risk of power overload, which translates into stable network operation and protection against failures.

VLAN mode

Switching to "V" mode (VLAN) allows you to logically separate subnets by isolating ports. This means that you can group devices into different subnets regardless of their physical location. Creating VLANs allows you to increase security, better manage network traffic and optimize the use of network resources.

QOS

Ports 1 and 2 have QOS (Quality of Service) with video packet prioritization. This feature allows you to prioritize data packets related to video transmission, resulting in smoother and more reliable video and audio streaming. With QOS, you can effectively manage network bandwidth, minimizing latency and video jamming in situations where the network is under load. This solution is particularly important in environments where video transmission is critical, such as in surveillance systems, video conferencing or live broadcasts.
