Description

Arduino cover designed to work with the Raspberry Pi minicomputer. It allows you to combine the capabilities of a minicomputer and an Arduino board in one device. On the board there is an ATmega32u4 microcontroller programmed from the Raspberry Pi in the Arduino IDE environment. The overlay has Arduino Leonardo pins and Raspberry Pi pins (according to the Gravity standard), and is connected to the minicomputer via a 40-pin connector. The ATmega32u4 microcontroller communicates with the Raspberry Pi via the UART interface and is visible in the system as a serial port. In addition, the board has an RTC clock and an Xbee compatible connector, thanks to which the set obtains the possibility of wireless communication. The overlay makes the Raspberry Pi compatible with all sensors designed for Arduino and significantly expands the capabilities of the minicomputer.
