The basis of action of T-100® Hardcore is based on the assumption of maximal increase in the concentration of testosterone in the bloodstream, as well as molecules that are its structural mimetics, acting in a manner similar to this androgen. Plant extracts standardized for such active substances have been collected in a composition with a code name

ELITE TESTO-SUPPORT BLEND.

Its basic component is fenugreek extract standardized to 50% saponins. Studies(1) show that supplementation of already 500 mg of fenugreek extract in combination with resistance training, over 8 weeks results in a significant increase in strength and reduction in body fat levels, leading to an improvement in the overall composition of body composition. Such an effect should be associated with an increase in anabolic activity of the body, usually as a result of an increase in endogenous levels of androgens such as testosterone. At this point, it should be noted that in T-100® Hardcore there is 2x higher dose of fenugreek extract than the one used in the research.

Additional ingredients included in the blend are 2 different extracts of earth mace. One of them standardized to 90% saponins, and the other to 60% saponins and 20% protodioscins. This bivalent system of high-quality extracts allows you to multiply the beneficial effects on the body of saponins and protodioscins by synergizing their action. The overall expected effect is significantly better than that resulting from the consumption of one of the extracts. Proven(2, 3), very desirable for athletes action is to increase testosterone levels (following an increase in LH levels;(4) and improve sexual function, probably, just as a result of taking not only saponins, but also protodioscins(5).

The whole blend has been additionally supplemented with perfectly digestible amino acid chelate (bisglycinate) zinc. In addition, it appears to be an inhibitor of two enzymes important for testosterone metabolism: aromatase – converting testosterone into estradiol and 5-α-reductase converting testosterone into DHT.

We decided to further enhance the strong effect of ellagic acid by adding common oat extract standardized to 7% flavones. Scientific reports(8) suggest that flavones have the strongest properties among all plant flavonoids for inhibiting aromatase activity. Less effective functioning of this enzyme helps avoid the unpleasant consequences of elevated estrogen levels in men, especially in individuals prone to such conditions, which can lead to gynecomastia, fat accumulation around the abdomen and thighs, excessive water retention, and sexual dysfunction. Other studies demonstrate the parallel action of common oat ingredients in increasing testosterone production(9).

A higher concentration of free testosterone in the body is expected, according to scientific research, due to the addition of saw palmetto extract standardized to 45% fatty acids. Clinical studies using saw palmetto extract show beneficial treatment effects observed in up to 90% of patients after 6 weeks of use. This plant ingredient owes its action characteristics to the selective antagonism of over half of the DHT receptors in the prostate and its inhibitory effect on 5-alpha-reductase activity(10, 11).

To protect active testosterone in the body – in its free, unbound form – the composition of T-100® Hardcore absolutely had to be strengthened with substances that displace it from complexes with sex hormone-binding proteins (SHBG) or albumin. For this specific purpose, we created a dedicated blend (FREE A.N.D.R.O. FORMULA), whose active ingredients, due to their structural similarity to testosterone, bind with high affinity to the aforementioned proteins. This is another system that effectively prevents the conversion and inactivation of active testosterone.
