The 2w1 adapter allows you to connect an M.2 NVMe PCIe key M SSD or M.2 SATA key B and key B+M SSD via USB-C 3.1 Gen2 port to your computer, smartphone, tablet, TV, console or other device. The adapter supports M.2 NVMe PCIe M Key or M.2 SATA key B or key B+M SSDs. The enclosure has a USB-C 3.1 Gen2 port, thus enabling very fast data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps. The enclosure with the adapter can be connected both to the USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4 port and to the standard USB 3.0/2.0 port via the included cables. The aluminum housing provides greater durability and a sleek look. Silver color. Dimensions 10cm x 2,8cm x 1,2cm.
The enclosure supports UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) technology and TRIM (ATA Data Set Management Command) instructions. With UASP, a USB device can queue commands and execute several commands at once. This multiplies read and write transfers by an average of 30% compared to traditional USB devices. The Trim command tells the SSD which blocks of data are no longer in use and allows them to be re-populated with data. It also increases the performance of the drive and extends its lifespan.
