4G External Router for Professional Installations
TP-Link Omada ER603WP-4G-Outdoor is an external network gateway designed for locations where access to a traditional internet connection is difficult, unstable or completely unavailable. The device combines in one housing modem 4G LTE, wired router, Wi-Fi access point and PoE power functions.
The router will work well in monitoring installations, farms, warehouses, construction sites, parking lots, industrial areas and temporary workplaces. Simply insert a nano SIM card or connect a wired Ethernet connection to provide Internet access to devices located in your location.
4G LTE Cat4 connectivity
The built-in 4G LTE category 4 modem allows you to download data at speeds up to 150 Mb/s and send up to 50 Mb/s. The router supports a wide range of LTE-FDD, LTE-TDD and 3G networks, so it can work with popular mobile operators.
The nano SIM card slot allows you to quickly start the connection without the need for an additional USB modem or an external LTE router.
Wi-Fi N300 for nearby devices
The ER603WP-4G-Outdoor provides a local Wi-Fi 4 wireless network in the 2,4 GHz band at speeds up to 300 Mbps. This allows you to directly connect Wi-Fi cameras, computers, mobile devices and other wireless clients.
The device supports up to 8 SSID networks, guest networking, bandwidth limiting for customers, and WPA/WPA2 Personal and Enterprise security.
PoE In and PoE Out
The router is equipped with 3 gigabit WAN/LAN ports, including:
- 1 port PoE In
- 2 PoE Out ports
The PoE In port allows you to power your router using 802.3af, 802.3at, 802.3bt or passive PoE standards. Two PoE Out ports can power additional 802.3af/at compliant devices, such as IP cameras or external access points.
This allows you to supply data transmission and power with a single Ethernet cable, reducing the number of wires and additional power supplies required at the installation site.

4G automatic backup link
The router enables simultaneous use of a wired WAN connection and a 4G cellular network. Link Backup, Failover and Load Balancing allow you to use LTE as an automatic backup link or distribute traffic between available connections.
In the event of a primary internet failure, the router can automatically switch traffic to a cellular network, helping to keep monitoring, network devices and remote access systems running.
Suitable for outdoor use
The housing with tightness class IP55 protects the device against dust, rain and changing weather conditions. The router can operate at temperatures from -30°C to 60°C, making it suitable for year-round outdoor installations.
Additional lightning protection 4 kV increases work safety in installations exposed to atmospheric surges.
The device can be mounted on a wall or pole using the mounting kit included in the package.
Two LTE antennas and two Wi-Fi antennas
The router uses two external LTE antennas, which support stable communication with the cellular network, and two internal Wi-Fi antennas, responsible for the local wireless network.
The possibility of mounting the device outside allows you to place the antennas in a place that provides a better signal to the cellular network than in the case of a router installed inside the building.
