How to add Easy Smart switches in the Omada controller
The TP-Link Easy Smart series switches are not visible by default in the Omada controller, because the controller manages devices from the full Omada SDN system as standard. In order for the controller to detect and manage Easy Smart switches, Easy Management mode must be enabled in the location settings.
How to enable Easy Management in the Omada controller
- Log in to Omada Controller.
- Go to Controller → Global View.
- Open the Dashboard tab.
- In the Location List (Sites) list, select the location that you want.
- Click the Edit / Edit icon next to the selected location.
- In the settings, find the option Switch Type.
- Select Easy Management.
- Save the changes.
