Most Ethernet switches have a limited distance of up to 100 meters, the GS-5424PLX long-range mode provides increased power and data delivery distance of up to 200 meters (656 feet) when operating in full 10 Mbps duplex mode for each port. It is ideal for long-distance applications such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, access points and PoE-enabled IoT devices in remote locations.

Thanks to a dedicated and intelligent system cooling control system, the GS-5424PLX can measure and control the fan speed, as well as turn on/off each of them to save energy and reduce noise.

Each port is equipped with reverse current protection to avoid damage to PoE ports when custom PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) devices are connected.
