Talos 2 C Series 800 GB is a 2.5-inch internal hard drive made in SSD technology (FLASH technology), using a 6 Gb/s SAS interface. This technology replaces drives made in standard technology with magnetic recording. The main advantage of SSD is the lack of moving parts. In addition, the disk is characterized by a much shorter time of access to data (several dozen times), quiet operation and much greater resistance to mechanical damage (caused, for example. shocks during work or falling from a height). Reading data at 550 MB/s and writing at 375 MB/s, along with a very short access time, provide an unprecedented increase in the performance and functionality of the computer. In turn, the lack of mechanical elements guarantees high shock resistance, which ensures effective work in mobile devices. This drive uses S.M.A.R.T., Wear Leveling technologies, ECC algorithm and 128-bit AES encryption, as well as Block Management. The nominal working time is 1000000 hours.
