Extender EXT-POEG3-OTD is a device designed to increase the transmission distance of PoE power supply and Ethernet data using twisted pair UTP cat. 5/5e o another 100m. Extender is powered by a PoE switch or other PoE compliant device (PoE IN input). Output voltage and data are available on PoE OUT 1 – 3 outputs, to which cameras or other IP devices using PoE power must be connected.

Extender is intended for installation by a qualified installer with appropriate (required and necessary for a given country) permits and permissions to connect (interference) to low-voltage installations. The device is recommended to be installed in a place protected from direct weather conditions and high sunlight with temperatures in the range of -10 °C to +50 °C.

The device is designed to work in Ethernet networks with a bandwidth of 10 Mb/s, 100 Mb/s or 1000 Mb/s (so-called Gigabit Ethernet). Connections between the extender and the network device should be made with a cable of category min. UTP CAT.5e.
