Smart Illumination

Smart Illumination is a modern technology used in Kenik cameras, which, after detecting movement in the image monitored by the camera, starts recording in color. When the object leaves the area, the camera returns to black and white recording mode.

Description

The Kenik IP camera is ideal for monitoring systems that require the highest image quality. The 5MPX transducer used in it and the advanced H.265+ compression ensure recognition of many details both during the day and at night. What's more, the user can use intelligent image analysis to increase the security of the protected facility. Many other functionalities such as DEFOG, ROI, hardware WDR ensures that the image is as clear as possible, without distortion, and allows the identification of people or objects. In addition, the camera can work in the cloud, and the connection is extremely simple. A user from anywhere in the world can check what is happening in the monitored facility using their smartphone. In addition, the Kenik camera uses Power over Ethernet (POE), thanks to which we do not need to lay two wires, because we only need a twisted pair to connect the cameras with other devices in the network.

Intelligent Image Analysis (IVS)

The big advantage of the camera is the support for intelligent video image analysis. Event detection was used for: human/vehicle detection, line crossing, intrusion detection, area entry, area exit, rapid movement. This increases the effectiveness of the monitoring system and the security of the controlled facility.

onvif

Onvif (Open Network Video Interface Forum) is an organization of CCTV producers focused on the unification of the standard, a common protocol for these devices. This group was created to standardize the protocol, i.e. the method of communication between devices from different vendors. At present, the entire organization brings together about 450 companies and institutions from around the world.

The Onvif standard itself, since its introduction, has undergone successive phases of development and encountered various unexpected problems. It happened that two different devices with the implemented protocol did not work or their functionality was limited. Today, the standard is offered in version 2.6 and in the vast majority of cases it allows for seamless integration of any devices.

Work in the cloud

Each Kenik IP camera has the ability to connect via the cloud. Thanks to this solution, without complicated configuration, each user can easily connect to the camera and see the image. It is not necessary to forward ports or a public IP address, just connect to the Internet (also LTE) and set up an account on KENIKP2P ( www.kenikp2p.eu ). The service is free.

Mobile View

Thanks to the free uCloud Cam application, we can remotely view the image from the camera on our mobile phone. Just download it from the app store. Supports systems such as: Android, iOS. This gives us the ability to control what is happening in the monitored facility from anywhere in the world. When connected in the cloud, just enter the ID number of the camera and enjoy remote access to the device.

WDR

The WDR function allows you to obtain an image with even brightness in every part of the frame. It is necessary in places with very large differences in the level of lighting in different areas. Cameras with WDR will be particularly useful in entrances to buildings, glass walls, etc.

SD card reader

The camera allows you to record video on the memory card based on a set schedule or motion detection. The reader supports cards with a capacity of up to 128GB. This allows the camera to work autonomously without the use of a recorder or to create an emergency backup.

Motion detection

Motion detection is one of the functions of the camera, which is responsible for image registration. The detection is based on capturing changes in the image, and the recording of the selected channel is started. This function has a number of additional possibilities, including defining the detection field, adjusting the appropriate sensitivity of the changes that are responsible for the recording.

uCMS

The uCMS program is software that allows you to view the image and manage the camera or recorder on a computer. It allows you to connect several devices located in different locations and view images from up to 128 cameras. In addition, creating an e-map facilitates browsing and allows you to divide the system into zones. Support for up to 4 monitors at the same time will certainly be helpful in this.
