It is an IPC camera of the WizSense S2 series, used to build vision systems. The WizSense S2 device is equipped with innovative technologies: artificial intelligence AI functions (perimeter, SMD plus) and Smart Dual Illuminators.

The fixed-focal lens of the 2.8mm camera enables accurate recording of observed objects.

The device is equipped with Smart Dual Illumination technology, thanks to which it is possible to switch between different lighting modes. The user can choose between white light mode and IR (infrared) mode. When Smart Dual Illumination is active, the white light will only turn on when an object is detected in the monitored area. In the event that the detected object leaves the monitored area, the white light LED illuminator is switched to IR lighting.

Additionally, the Dahua Smart Dual IP camera has the ability to choose 1 of 3 lighting modes:

• IR Mode: The camera only works with IR illuminator.
• White Light Mode: The camera only works with the white light LED illuminator.

Dahua WizSense Smart Dual Illuminators network cameras have new intelligent features that work even in the most difficult lighting conditions, and thanks to deep learning algorithms, the device performs key tasks better than before, such as perimeter protection, image structuring divided into categories of recognized objects.

The main task of the perimeter protection function is to detect an intruder when a certain line is crossed or enters a protected area. The Deep Learning camera is able to distinguish objects that violate a controlled area, e.g. tree from a car or a man from an animal. In addition, the device sends an alarm when an unwanted event is detected.

The advantage of the device is also a built-in slot for microSD (256 GB) cards, alarm input and output and a built-in microphone.

Smart PSS software

Comprehensive management and supervision of the security system and the network of cameras for observation determines the effectiveness of each video surveillance installation. Dahua has created Smart PSS software for the user of personal PCs and MACs to create and personalize their own observation system. Smart PSS can cooperate with up to 256 devices and in addition to displaying live images or playing recordings, it allows for multi-monitor work, support for e-map and e-PTZ, support for video analytics and face detection options or advanced search for individual events. Thanks to the versatility of the program, it is possible to manage both high-resolution analogue CCTV cameras and megapixel IP cameras on an ongoing basis.

DMSS

DMSS is an application designed to view images from cameras and to manage Dahua recorders on smartphones and tablets. The program allows you to remotely operate devices (recorders, IP cameras), image preview, remote PTZ control, audio support, taking photos (snapshots) or recording videos.

Expand the memory with a SD card up to 256GB. Such a large capacity is enough for many hours of recording.

This allows us to record the image on the card in the event of a problem with the camera-recorder connection. After fixing the problem, the camera will automatically transfer the recording from the card to the DVR disk.

IR illuminator

The camera is equipped with 1 IR infrared diode with a working range of up to 30 meters. The illuminator can only work in IR Mode or Smart Illumination mode.

LED warm light illuminator

The camera also has 1 LED operating in the visible light range up to 30 meters. The illuminator can only work in White Light Mode or Smart Illumination mode.

Camera with PoE technology

Power over Ethernet is a solution designed to carry out quick and uncomplicated installation of network devices and comfortable operation of equipment and easy modernization of installation. Thanks to PoE support in the 802.3af standard, it will be possible to connect an IP camera with only UTP twisted pair. Saving the total amount of wires necessary to start the device improves the monitoring system and allows the camera to be located away from traditional mains power sources.
