I have a regular Full HD monitor and I mainly use Teams. Will I even notice this 4K quality?

It depends on the app settings and the screen itself. The Spacetronik SP-WCAM14 captures images in 4K resolution, however, popular instant messengers often compress video to save internet bandwidth. On a Full HD monitor, you won’t see full 4K detail, although the picture itself will still be much clearer and better lit thanks to advanced optics.

I want to show documents up close to the camera. Does this model have fast autofocus?

No, this model uses a fixed focus lens. This means that the camera is not constantly looking for sharpness, which eliminates the annoying effect of pulsing the image during a typical conversation. However, if you plan to show small text from a distance of a few centimeters from the lens, the image will be blurred, because the optics are tuned to clearly show the silhouette from a normal distance from the desk.

In the pictures you can see that the camera is standing on a small tripod. Is this tripod included?

No, the tripod shown on the illustrative graphics is not part of the set. However, the Spacetronik SP-WCAM14 camera has a built-in universal thread in the base, so you can easily wind it on most standard photo tripods. You can also place the device flat on your desk or securely hang it on your monitor frame with the integrated clip.

I work in the same room with my wife, who also has meetings. Will the built-in microphone mute her voice in the background?

Yes, the microphone on the SP-WCAM14 has a noise reduction system that handles typical background noise well. However, it collects sounds from up to 3 meters away, so another person’s loud conversation in the same room can still be heard by your interlocutors.
