About the brand

Hau in the Jar is a brand that was born out of love for dogs, scientific passion and the need to create food whose quality leaves no doubt. It is an artisanal wet food manufactory, operating in the spirit of slow with closeness, tenderness and attention to every detail, away from industrial tapes.

Products are made by hand - on a small scale, from local ingredients. The recipes are scientifically balanced and composed to really support the health of dogs, without unnecessary fillers, pods or cereals.

Everything is packed in glass jars - ecologically, transparently and respecting the environment.

Feed "Light cod with pears and fennel" - NEW RECIPE

The food was created with care for each ingredient to ensure that dogs get the highest quality meal.

The main source of protein is selected cod fillet, food grade (human grade), prepared by hand and cut into pieces of 1 to 2 cm in size. The recipe is enriched with pears and fennel also hand-prepared to preserve their natural taste and nutritional value. Only vegetables and fruits grown in Poland are used.

The food is additionally supplemented with essential minerals and vitamins, thanks to which each meal is a full-fledged, complete source of all ingredients needed by your dog for healthy, everyday functioning.

In order to maintain the highest standards of ecology and care for the environment, the food is packed in glass jars, which can be reused or recycled. The finished mixture is cooked and autoclaved, so it remains fresh and safe even up to 6 months from the moment of production.

No flavor enhancers, preservatives, colours, fillers or other artificial additives were used in the production process of food. The recipe is completely natural, and its quality results only from the ingredients used.

In addition, food does not contain gelling substances, such as gelatin or agar – its consistency is the result of natural processing and properties of the products used.

Monoprotein feed

100% of the meat used in the feed is cod fillet. Cod fillet is an extremely easily digestible and low-calorie protein source, ideal for dogs with sensitive digestive systems or those in need of a delicate diet. It provides a nutritious, well-absorbed protein that supports muscle building and regeneration, maintaining strength and the overall condition of the dog's body.

Cod is also rich in valuable vitamins such as vitamin B12, B6 and niacin (B3), which play a key role in energy metabolism, nervous system function and red blood cell production. Cod fillet also contains important minerals — phosphorus, iodine, and selenium — to support thyroid health, muscle function, and immunity.

The naturally low fat content makes cod an excellent choice for overweight dogs, digestive issues, or those that require a light, easily digestible diet. Its delicate taste and soft structure make it eagerly accepted by most dogs, being a tasty and valuable element of healthy nutrition.

The other non-meat ingredients used in the food have been selected to provide the dog with the desired nutritional benefits, supporting his health, immunity and proper functioning of the body.

Pears: Pears are a tasty, aromatic and safe addition to your dog's diet. They are easily digestible and rich in dietary fiber, which supports proper digestion, helps regulate intestinal function and has a positive effect on the balance of intestinal microflora. This can be helpful for dogs with sensitive digestive systems.

These fruits also provide vitamins such as vitamin C, K and some B vitamins that support immunity, metabolism and skin and coat health. The natural antioxidants present in pears help protect your body's cells from oxidative stress, supporting your dog's overall vitality.
