1. What is the MAPOWER MPAC03 compressor designed for?

MAPOWER MPAC03 is primarily used for control and replenishment of tire pressure in car, motorcycle and bicycle tires. With the included tips, it can also be used to inflate balls and select inflatable accessories.

2. Is the device suitable for pumping car tires?

Yes. Cylinder with a diameter of 25 mm, air flow up to 27 l/min and maximum pressure 150 PSI allow you to supplement the tire pressure of passenger cars. Working time depends on tyre size, initial pressure and target value.

3. Can a completely empty car tire be inflated?

The device can force air into an empty tire, but its primary use is inflating and correcting pressure. A completely empty tire requires much longer work, puts more strain on the battery and causes more heating of the device.

In addition, the compressor will not repair the puncture or guarantee the re-embedding of the tire foot on the rim.

4. Is the compressor suitable for large tires of vans and off-road vehicles?

The parameters of the device indicate that it is intended mainly for tires of passenger cars, motorcycles and bicycles. For large delivery, off-road or air-volume tyres, the pumping time can be much longer.

5. How many tires can be inflated on a single charge?

One exact number cannot be given without specifying tyre size and starting and ending pressure. The 20 V 2,0 Ah battery is enough for multiple minor pressure adjustments, but the number of tires handled will be smaller in case of large air shortages.

6. Does the AUTO STOP function prevent the tyre from pumping?

The AUTO STOP function stops pumping when the set value is reached. Before starting work, however, set the pressure according to the recommendations of the vehicle manufacturer and check the reading after pumping.

7. Is the pressure measurement performed automatically when connected?

After proper and tight connection of the tip to the valve, the device indicates the current pressure on the digital display. The reading may temporarily change during compressor operation, so the final value is best checked after stopping pumping.

8. What pressure should be set in the car tire?

Use the value given by the car manufacturer, most often placed on the driver's door post, fuel filler flap or in the vehicle manual. Do not set the pressure based on the maximum value recorded on the side of the tyre.

9. Does the maximum pressure of 150 PSI mean that tyres should be pumped to this value?

No. 150 PSI is the maximum operating pressure of the device, not the recommended tyre pressure. Typical passenger car tires require much lower values in accordance with the recommendations of the car manufacturer.

10. What pressure units does the compressor support?

Unlimited working hours should not be assumed. The fan helps cool the components, but during long pumping, the device can still heat up. The working time and breaks given in the manufacturer's instructions must be observed.

16. Does the metal tip provide a tight connection to the valve?

The metal tip is more durable than typical plastic components and should provide a stable connection when properly fastened. The tightness also depends on the condition of the valve, gasket and the correct quick release fastener.

17. Is the LED flashlight used to indicate failure?

The flashlight has a continuous light and two warning modes. It can improve the visibility of the user or vehicle after dark, but it does not replace legally required emergency equipment such as emergency lights or a warning triangle.

18. Will the compressor repair a punctured tire?

No. The device only pumps air. It does not seal the puncture, does not replace the repair kit and should not be used as a way to continue driving with a damaged tire.
