Borax is a natural mineral that has long been used as a cleaning, disinfecting, and refreshing agent. It is effective, cheap and multifunctional.

Here are the most common uses of borax in the home for cleaning:

1. Universal cleaner

How to use: Mix 1 tablespoon of borax with 1 liter of warm water.

Application: For wiping countertops, tiles, sinks, bathtubs, glaze and even floors.

2. Toilet cleaning

How to use: Pour ½ cups of borax into the toilet bowl at night, scrub with a brush in the morning and rinse.

It acts as: descaling, whitening and disinfectant.

3. Carpet refresh
