In the envelopes we distinguish three basic types of gluing:

Wet bonding (NK) is a bonding activated by prior humidification, which means that the layer of glue on the flap is enough to moisten anything and can already be freely sealed. Envelopes with this type of bonding are practically unlimitedly durable if stored correctly.

Self-adhesive bonding (SK) - this is about latex-based bonding. The adhesive is located on two adhesive surfaces (on the hole flap and counter-flap). Sealing is achieved by contacting both flaps. Manual operation is therefore particularly easy and uncomplicated. However, the durability of gluing - depending on the method of storage - is limited to a year.

Self-adhesive with strap (HK) - closing the envelope with such glue is done by removing the strap covering the glue, putting on the flap and pressing on the flap of the envelope and it is already tightly closed. Quickly, confidently, cleanly, practically and conveniently. This strap has a decisive advantage over wet sealing or self-adhesive closure. The envelopes really store much better because the sealing is protected by a strap, holds longer and does not adhere to the lower lying envelopes. In addition, envelopes with such sealing are easier to fill and maintain their validity (guarantee), which is over 5 years. To this should be added that envelopes with this sealing can be easily printed, because the cover strip lies on the hole flap, which means that these envelopes do not stick to the printing device.
