TP-Link Omada EAP787 is a modern, professional enterprise-class access point designed for environments requiring very high performance and stability of the wireless network. The device supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard, offering huge bandwidth, very low latency and the ability to support a large number of simultaneously connected devices. Thanks to its three-band architecture (2,4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz) and a total bandwidth of up to 12,2 Gb/s, the access point is ideal for modern offices, hotels, schools, commercial facilities and other environments with high user density.
The EAP787 uses 8 spatial streams and the latest Wi-Fi 7 technologies such as 320 MHz channel width, Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 4K-QAM and Multi-RU, which significantly increases data transmission efficiency, improves connection stability and reduces latency. This allows the wireless network to support demanding applications such as high-definition video transmissions, cloud applications, real-time communications and IoT environments.
The device is equipped with a dedicated radio spectrum analyzer, which enables continuous bandwidth monitoring and interference detection without interrupting data transmission. This feature allows the network administrator to identify sources of interference, analyze radio spectrum and automatically optimize wireless network performance, which translates into greater stability and reliability of the infrastructure.
The EAP787 features a 10G Ethernet port that eliminates bottlenecks in wired infrastructure and allows you to take full advantage of the potential of Wi-Fi 7. The access point can be powered via PoE 802.3bt/at or DC power supply, which provides flexibility when deploying in different network environments. This makes installation quick and convenient, especially in large network installations.
The device is part of the Omada SDN platform, which enables centralized network management from the cloud, mobile application or hardware controller. An administrator can manage access points, switches and network gateways in one place, monitor traffic, configure security policies and analyze infrastructure performance.
The access point supports more than 510 simultaneous clients and provides a range of up to about 190 m², making it perfect for places with high user density. Support for Omada Mesh technology and seamless roaming allows for the construction of extensive, stable wireless networks where users can move freely between access points without losing connection.
In addition, EAP787 offers extensive security features such as WPA3 Enterprise, client isolation, VLANs, unauthorized access point detection and portal login. The ability to create multiple SSID networks and integrate with authentication systems make the device ideal for business and public Wi-Fi applications.
