Four times the bandwidth

Thanks to the use of OFDMA and MU-MIMO technology, the EAP620 HD access point can achieve up to four times higher bandwidth in environments with high data traffic than devices operating in the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard, which translates into the possibility of connecting more devices at the same time.

Four data streams for high speeds

New technologies of the 802.11ax standard, such as 1024QAM modulation and the long OFDM symbol, allow the EAP620 HD device to achieve previously unavailable speeds: 1201 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band and 574 Mb/s in the 2,4 GHz band, i.e. a total of 1775 Mb/s†. Four spatial streams translate into more users using the network at the same time, and thus more efficient work.

Integration with Omada SDN platform

The Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform integrates network devices such as Access Points, switches and routers to provide 100% centralized cloud management and highly scalable managed networking from a single interface.

Automatic channel selection and rpower egulation

It provides high wireless performance while reducing WiFi interference by automatically adjusting channel settings and transmission power levels of adjacent access points on the same network.

Smooth switching

Roaming 802.11k/v automatically and seamlessly switches clients to access points with the most optimal signal. As a result, sensitive applications such as VoIP and video conferencing are not interrupted.
