HP offers intelligent wireless access points that support IEEE 802.11n, from single-radio access points (802.11 a/b/g/n standard) to models equipped with two radios (802.11 a/b/g/n). MSM Access Points are advanced wireless devices that provide continuous and easy-to-manage connectivity options to expand network capabilities.
Access points manage the network in an uninterrupted manner, reducing the so-called. bottlenecks and optimizing network construction, deciding where data is being sent.
MSM access points provide full support for wireless functions, allowing for greater reliability of connectivity options. The IEEE 802.11n compliant HP RF security sensor enables network edge protection by providing scalable IDS/IPS capabilities around the clock, which protects against attacks on IEEE 802.11a/b/g and 802.11n wireless networks.
MSM access points and RF security sensor require a single Power over Ethernet (PoE) cable connection. They are IEEE 802.3af compliant and support plug-and-play automatic configuration.
