Moondrop Pill is no ordinary earbud - it's an open ear design and ear clip designed for people who want to be situationally aware without sacrificing sound quality. Instead of closing the ear canal, it rests comfortably outside, delivering full-range hi-fi sound with a 13mm dynamic driver, real-time adaptive bass, and hardware AI noise cancellation for clearer voice calls.

Built for OWS - Open Wear Stereo

Unlike traditional earbuds, Pill does not insert into the ear. They are clamped with a memory wire C bridge, which covers the outer part of the ear, relieving the wire. This means no sealing fatigue, pressure on the eardrum and no collision with glasses.

13-millimeter long stroke dynamic transducer

Moondrop equipped Pill with a specialized 13mm dynamic transducer designed for low-distortion broadband operation. Its long stroke diaphragm design behaves more like a small speaker than a typical in-ear transducer. This gives you better bass, better dynamics and sound that seems to be bigger than the equipment it comes from.

Adaptive bass amplification algorithm

Moondrop’s patented DSP algorithm improves real-time low-frequency performance. It tracks audio content and amplifies bass without adding distortion. This means that the music gets a bit deeper and the movies and games seem more immersive.

Dipole Directional Sound Transmission

For open space structures, sound leakage is always a problem. Moondrop handled this with Dipole Directional Sound Transmission, a mechanical design that reduces sound leakage by 97% at a distance of 15 cm from the ear. So Pill plays loudly, but not for the person sitting next to you.

Hardware-level AI noise reduction

Pill uses a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to support real-time AI environmental noise reduction. This layout tracks and removes ambient noise while increasing voice clarity. Whether you're talking on the phone, recording a message, or controlling your phone by voice, your voice sounds clear and crisp every time.

Low Latency Game Mode

With a low latency mode of 55ms, Pill syncs with game audio fast enough to keep up with gameplay. Tap the controls to switch between modes - without having to install the app. Whether you're playing in a match or just watching YouTube, the sound stays in place.

Long battery life and fast charging

The Pill runs for 8 hours on a single charge and stores an additional 20 hours in the charging case. Standby time is extended to 90 hours thanks to low power consumption equipment. It is ready for everyday wear - without the need for frequent battery refills or unexpected shutdowns.

C-bridge memory clip for comfort and stable grip

Pill ear clip design uses a hybrid of liquid silicone and titanium alloy with shape memory. This makes it soft to the touch and has a durable internal structure. It maintains its shape, fits most ears, and can be carried in your pocket or bag.

Water resistance class IPX4

Sweat, splashes and drizzle will not knock Pill out of use. It has IPX4 waterproof rating, has been tested according to ILAC-MRA and CNAS certification standards, and is designed for everyday use in real-world conditions.

Touch control, two devices, app personalization

Manage playback, calls, and bass levels directly through Pill or the Moondrop companion app. The application also allows you to customize touch-controlled elements, switch DSP profiles and manage pairing of two devices.

Automatically share graphic equalizer and DSP with one click

The Moondrop app includes a one-click Auto EQ function with multiple frequency response presets. Choose your curve -- VDSF, Harman or custom -- and let the app do the rest. You can also download and share DSP settings in the community, making Pill tuneable in any way you like.
