MINIATURE RECEIVER AND DISCREET DESIGN

Logitech VX Nano is a wireless mouse that connects to your computer via 2,4 GHz radio technology over a distance of up to 5 meters, without the need for Bluetooth pairing. The Nano receiver protrudes from the USB port by only about half a centimeter, and when finished, it hides in the battery compartment under the lid — a convenient solution for laptop users taking their mouse on the go. The included USB extension cord makes it easy to position the receiver closer to the mouse on a large desk. The flat, symmetrical housing weighing about 99 g with batteries encourages a claw grip, and the rubberized coating on the sides improves holding confidence.

MICROGEAR WHEEL AND FIVE PROGRAMMABLE BUTTONS

The MicroGear scroll wheel switches with a single click between free-turn mode, which speeds up the scrolling of long lists, and the mode with noticeable ratchets for precise line-by-line navigation – but the wheel does not act as a separate middle button. Back/further navigation buttons improve browser navigation, and a dedicated search button triggers a search for selected text; in the Logitech SetPoint software, you can assign it a middle click function. In total, the mouse offers 5 programmable buttons.

LASER SENSOR AND LONG BATTERY LIFE

A high-precision laser sensor with a sensitivity of about 800 DPI provides accurate tracking on most desk surfaces, although it does not work on glass or mirror panes; it is not possible to change the sensitivity on the fly. Two AAA batteries power the mouse for up to 6 months, and a single LED signals when they need to be replaced. The power switch on the bottom of the case allows you to completely turn off the mouse during transport. Three large Teflon feet provide a smooth glide, while SetPoint (Windows) or Control Center (Mac) software allows you to configure buttons.
