Clothes with intense colors can quickly become discolored if they are mistakenly washed with other clothes. The colors wash out and the color residue spreads throughout the wash. Original colours can be reproduced with Dr. Beckmann Decolorizer. Special ingredients remove coloration and destroy unwanted colors. After removing the color, the clothes look like new.

Frequently Asked Questions

I used the Decolorizer and the colors of the clothes are different now than before. What can I do?

It is possible that no color fastness test has been performed before the color removal process begins. If the fabrics are not fade resistant, the original color may have changed due to the use of a decolorizer. In this case, it will not be possible to reproduce the original color. If the problem is different, we recommend repeating the treatment in some container and washing the clothes by hand to intensify the color removal process and completely discolor the fabrics through a longer reaction time.

I used the decolorizer intensively in the washing machine on dyed clothes, but it didn't work.

Repeat the process in a container and leave the decolorizer overnight. If the laundry is still dyed, it means that the unwanted color is permanent and cannot be removed.

How to use

Container (30°C – 95°C)

1. Completely dissolve the powder in 6 liters of warm (above 30°C) water.
2. Put in 1,5 kg of clothing and fully immerse it. Do not add any detergents. Clothing must be fully immersed in the solution at all times; if necessary, use (old) plates to properly press the clothing.
3. Close the container tightly (e.g. with a cap).
4. Soak the clothes for at least 4 hours. For best results, soak your clothes all night, up to 24 hours.
5. Rinse thoroughly several times with clean water or wash separately in the washing machine.
6. In case of persistent discoloration, the process can be safely repeated. When using the product, we recommend wearing rubber gloves. People with respiratory problems should avoid using the product in containers.

Washing machine (60°C–95°C)

1. Put a maximum of 1,5 kg of clothing into the drum.
2. Select the maximum permissible temperature (above 60°C) and run the program without a pre-wash cycle. Do not add any detergents.
3. Only after 15 minutes pour the contents of the sachet into the main compartment of the detergent drawer, and then immediately add 1 to 2 liters of water. (Washing machines loaded from above: pour directly into the drum)
4. If slight discoloration is still visible on the clothing after applying the product, we recommend repeating the process using the "container" method.

It is absolutely necessary to follow the instructions for the care of fabrics and the manufacturer's instructions.

Synthetic fibres, jeans and indurrene dyes or dyes must not be discolored.

The agent is not suitable for removing stains caused by sunscreens, sun lotions or self-tanners and products containing agents that protect against ultraviolet radiation.
