If air bubbles appear in the liquid, they should be removed by lightly tapping on the tester. The upper (smaller) hand must be in an upright position, then the large (lower) hand will show what the state of the electrolyte is (blue – good liquid, gray – medium, red – bad, battery insufficiently charged). Check each cell (cell), top up if the tester's hand points to a red field, i.e. below 1.210 fluid density. Battery replacement is recommended if the difference in indications between targets is greater than 30 units after charging the battery. After each use of the tester, it should be washed with hot soapy water and rinsed
