The Phoenix Smart IP43 12V 50A (3) charger from Victron Energy is an advanced solution for charging three independent batteries at the same time. Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth technology, the user can remotely control and monitor the charging process using a smartphone or tablet. The device allows full personalization of charging parameters and automatic voltage equalization, which increases safety and efficiency of use.

The Phoenix Smart IP43 offers three independent outputs that can charge three sets of batteries at the same time. Each output provides a full rated current, however, the total output current of the charger must not exceed 50A. This solution is perfect for complex installations, such as yacht or commercial vehicle power systems. The device uses a 6-stage adaptive algorithm that automatically adjusts the charging process to the current needs of the batteries. Thanks to the adaptive function, the absorption time adapts to the degree of discharge, which prevents overcharging in case of minor discharges and extends the charging time after deep discharge. This algorithm is fully programmable and can be customized using a mobile app. The Phoenix Smart IP43 is equipped with a range of advanced safety features that protect the batteries from reverse polarity, short circuit and overheating. In BatterySafe mode, the charger automatically limits the rate of voltage increase when the gassing level is reached, which prevents excessive gas release and battery damage. This feature is particularly useful when charging lead-acid batteries. Storage mode The charger automatically goes into storage mode if the battery is not used for 24 hours. In this mode, the buffer voltage is reduced to 13,2 V to minimize electrode corrosion and gas release. Once a week, the voltage is raised to the absorption level, which prevents electrolyte stratification and sulphation, ensuring the longevity of the batteries. Technical specification
