Application

This 4-port USB hub is used to expand the number of available USB-A ports and allows you to connect up to four SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 devices to a single USB-A port on your laptop or desktop computer. It is designed to work with external memory, keyboards, mice, webcams and headsets that require data transfer at speeds up to 5 Gbit/s.

Speed and data transfer

The hub supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also known as USB 3.0/3.1 Gen1) with up to about 5 Gbit/s bandwidth, allowing large files to be transferred quickly between external drives and a computer. The device is UASP compliant, which improves performance when working with storage that supports this protocol, especially for random write and read operations.

Power supply and compatibility

The hub is powered from a USB bus (bus powered) and divides between all ports up to about 5 V / 900 mA (approx. 4,5 W). This solution works well when connecting peripheral devices with low power consumption, such as pendrives, keyboards or mice; the device does not include an external power socket. The hub works independently of the operating system and works with platforms such as Windows, macOS, Linux, iPadOS, Chrome OS and Android.

Design and portability

The case is made of low-mass plastic, and the shape and finish in black and gray give the device a discreet look. The built-in 28 cm host cable can be aesthetically arranged in a wrap-around cable management system, making it easy to transport and store the device in a bag or at a workstation. The lack of an external power supply reduces the number of items to carry.

Environmental dimensions and parameters

The device is compact in size and light in weight, making it easy to install on your desk or in your carry-on luggage. It is designed to work in standard office and home conditions, with operating temperatures from 0 to 50 °C and a relative humidity range of 0-95%.
