Link is a premium webcam – thanks to the 0,5-inch sensor, Sony has excellent image quality, and its three-axis gimbal allows you to do things that other cameras of this type cannot do. It allows you to capture 4K resolution at 30 frames per second (fps) or 1080p at 60 frames per second. It has a field of view (DFOV) of 79,5 degrees. It supports HDR mode, which is able to tame very intense background lights while maintaining natural-looking contrast levels on faces.

One of the current trends in webcams is software that automatically keeps you in the frame as you move - for this solution to work, it requires aggressive image cropping and gives you a noticeably worse picture. The gimbal can independently keep up with your movements without any loss of image quality. It also allows for some unique tricks that you simply won’t find on other webcams. Three gestures to activate or deactivate various functions: a short show of an open hand will cause the camera to abandon everything it does and start following your head as you move. Displaying the room sign will switch to array mode and search for the tags you find in the package. Finally, making an “L” with your thumb and index finger will gradually zoom in or out of the image depending on whether you are lifting or lowering your hand while making a gesture. Gesture recognition confirmed by the ignition of the green LED and then begins to flash blue.

Table mode.

Place a set of four attached self-adhesive markers around the corners of the board – or any rectangular object – and the camera will be able to quickly track and jump to it. The link zooms in to fill the frame with the selected object, and even corrects the perspective to make it look like the camera was positioned directly in front of the board. This is a neat trick that can be a real benefit for teachers or team leaders conducting streaming classes or presentations.

Portrait mode

Stream live and increase the reach of your social media. Unlike many other webcams, Link records in a completely uncut 9:16 format. Rotate the gimbal head for better picture quality for viewing on smartphones and multimedia tablets.

Using the AI facial recognition feature, the camera follows you as you move, ensuring that you are always in the perfect position in the frame.

Mode Overhead

Capture the perfect aerial view. Mount the Link on a tripod to record aligned, perfectly leveled footage, whether you’re unpacking a product, playing the piano, or sketching a floor plan.

Desk view mode

Simply mount the Link on your computer screen, turn on DeskView mode, and let it automatically adjust to show off your countertop. Ideal for presentations during a video call.

Privacy mode.

Within 10 seconds of inactivity, the Link 3-axis lens gimbal will automatically point downwards to protect your privacy.

Let your voice be heard. Dual noise-cancelling microphones reduce background noise, while automatic gain adjustment amplifies your voice.

Advanced control.

Manually adjust brightness, exposure, gimbal position and other parameters in Link Controller computer software. Fully compatible with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype, Google Meet and other video conferencing software.
